Christmas is the one time of the year where families and children should be able to count on something just a bit special. The families that benefit from CKOM’s Adopt A Family come from a variety of circumstances- homes where a parent has recently been laid off, single parent homes, and/or low-income households. The demand grows every year, and with the amazing support of Saskatoon people, the program grows with it.

To Be Adopted:
Families in need can apply to be adopted with the Salvation Army between November 12th & December 14th. Families must either apply in person (339 Ave C South S7M 1N5) or call 242-6833.

To Adopt a Family:
Register to adopt a family. From November 12th until December 14th, businesses or families interested in adopting can download an adoption form.

The C95 Food Bank Challenge in support of the Saskatoon Food Bank & learning Centre raised $36,000 cash and 101,000 pounds of food in 2011. In mid November, C95 encouraged the community to start collecting cash and non perishable food items for the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre. Then in December, C95 and the Community will stuff a city bus with food and money.
